Favorite Photos from September

Anybody want a zebra ride?

Our first day was a bit crazy. However, school is going well now for both girls. Dorothy was thrilled to discover recently that she can read most of Green Eggs and Ham!

What do you do when the restaurant is out of ice cream? Make your own Frosties!

There are several other families from Washington on the team here, so Levi has made many friends with his Seahawk's gear!
He can still carry all the kids!

Giggles and smiles, that's our girl!

Around Town

Want to come on a bit of a tour? Last week we drove around Maseru and took some pictures. I would describe it as a little city. It has good roads, two malls, churches, hospitals, and restaurants. It functions like a city, but can be toured completely in about an hour. A little city…and I love it so far!

The Stadium

Currently we are attending one of the two English speaking churches.

The malls have stores where you can buy clothes, shoes, electronics, groceries, housing goods, toys, and even eye glasses/contacts.

You can also go to the market downtown or buy food from a roadside vendor.

There are a variety of restaurants...chicken, pizza, Italian, Indian, burgers, etc.

Forgive the poor quality...I'll work on getting a better shot of the airport that MAF flies out of.
P.S. All photos were taken on a drizzly day...a rare occasion here so far. Normally the sky would be bright blue and clear.
